Today was a return to my usual Thursday routine. After a few weeks of juggling different schedules, I was finally able to get my weekly shopping done on the right day. With everything going on lately, it felt good to have things back to normal. I kept my shopping bill relatively low this week, spending around £75. It wasn't too bad, and I was able to get all the essentials—meat, fruit, and vegetables—along with something new: kiwi fruit. I've never tried them before, but considering all the health benefits they offer, I thought I’d give them a go. Hopefully, I like them!
Once I was home and had everything unpacked, it was time to get my workout in. I've recently made some changes to my home workout routine, though I haven't gotten around to posting about it yet. Today was leg day, so I focused on keeping things a little lighter than usual. I have my cousin’s wedding tomorrow, and I know I’ll be on my feet all day and night, so I didn’t want to push myself too hard. The last thing I need is achy legs for the celebration! After the workout, it was time for my first meal of the day around 3pm. I kept it simple, enjoying three poached eggs with a drizzle of chilli sauce. It was light but satisfying. Then, I took a long, relaxing bath and caught up on some reading—just the kind of wind-down I needed. For my evening meal, I roasted sweet potatoes and carrots to go with a perfectly cooked rump steak. It was a classic, comforting dinner, just right for a Thursday evening. All in all, it was a pretty standard day. Nothing too extravagant, but it felt good to follow my usual routine and get everything done. I’m looking forward to tomorrow, especially with the wedding ahead, but for now, I’m happy to have had a quiet, productive day. Comments are closed.
