Wednesday. And what a standard Wednesday it's been. Nothing dramatic to report, which—honestly—makes a nice change. My knee has been behaving itself today, so I decided to risk easing back into my home workouts. Fittingly (and somewhat ironically), it happened to be legs and core day. Risky, I know. But I made it through with everything still in one piece. No injuries, no regrets… though ask me again tomorrow when the DOMS hit.
First meal of the day was a bit rogue but delicious—beef chilli kebabs. I’ve had some mint yoghurt dip lurking in the fridge, so I paired it with cucumber and carrot sticks. Bit of a mismatched combo on paper, but it worked. Surprisingly refreshing, and the crunch hit the spot. Kept it light in the afternoon with just some blueberries, and for my evening meal I went classic: rump steak, sweet potato, and broccoli. Simple, hearty, and just what I needed. I swear, you can never go wrong with that trio. I’ve noticed my blog’s taken a bit of a back seat lately—not for lack of love, just because I’m working on something else behind the scenes (more on that soon, promise). So for the next week or so, blog posts might come every other day rather than daily. Which, honestly, is still a solid rhythm. Quality over quantity, right? Anyway, I hope everyone’s week has been kind to them so far. Here’s to the rest of it being just as steady, with maybe a little more excitement thrown in—preferably the good kind.
