A couple of months ago, I had a huge clear out of my wardrobe. I got rid of anything that didn’t fit anymore, things that were a bit past their best, or pieces that just weren’t really “me” these days. It left me with a fair bit of space in my wardrobe—especially with summer slowly approaching—and I realised I was in need of some good-quality sweatshirts.
I ended up turning to Vinted, more out of curiosity than anything at first, and honestly, it’s been such a good shout. I managed to stock up on a few basics: a couple of black sweatshirts, a couple of beige ones, and a dark grey one. All of them were new with tags, decent brands, and probably only a tenth of the price I’d have paid if I’d bought them new in shops. Even my daughter’s started using it—she recently asked if she could pick out a few things and send me the links to order. I can’t blame her, the bargains are actually mad once you start looking properly. The only thing that takes a bit of getting used to is the delivery times. I’m so used to next-day delivery with everything else that waiting 3–7 days feels long, but considering the prices (and that it’s secondhand, so technically not urgent), I don’t mind the wait. It’s definitely worth it for the savings. If you’ve not used Vinted before, I’d genuinely recommend giving it a go. Whether you’re buying or selling, it’s such a good way to reuse clothes that might otherwise just end up in landfill. It’s saved me money and helped me fill a few gaps in my wardrobe with pieces I’ll actually wear. Comments are closed.
