It’s been another week since my last blog post, and I wanted to catch you all up on what’s been happening. Unfortunately, I’ve had some unexpected family matters to attend to, which has significantly impacted my ability to post regularly. I apologise for the inconsistency and appreciate your understanding during this time. I will continue to post as much and as often as time allows, but please bear with me if the schedule remains a bit irregular for a while.
In terms of other news, there hasn’t been a great deal happening recently. It’s the end of May, and here in England, we’re still waiting for any sign of summer. The weather has been quite dismal, with plenty of rain and grey skies. Hopefully, June will bring some sunnier days, but for now, we’re all feeling a bit damp and dreary. On a brighter note, there are a couple of exciting things coming up on TV that should help lift the spirits. The Boys season 4 and House of the Dragon season 2 are both set to premiere in the next few weeks. If the weather continues to be miserable, at least we’ll have some thrilling new episodes to keep us entertained indoors. As I mentioned in my last post, I recently completed a 28-day workout plan. After finishing that, I decided to take a few days off to rest and recover. Now, I’m back at it with a new 28-day push, pull, and legs challenge. It’s been going well so far, and I’m really enjoying the new routine. It feels good to have a structured plan to follow, and I’m looking forward to seeing the results over the next few weeks. I’m aware that this post is on the shorter side, but I wanted to make sure I touched base with you all and let you know what’s been going on. I’ll be back with more updates and longer posts as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience and support. Two weeks ago today, I took my blog offline for a little summer break. Today, I'm back! The reason for this short hiatus is that I believe it's important to avoid burnout and writer's fatigue. Writing a post every day can be draining, and taking a step back helps keep the creativity flowing.
During my break, I finally bought the mountain bike I had been eyeing - the Carerra Hellcat. I mentioned in previous posts that I was considering buying it to get a bit more fresh air, and I’m happy to report that I took the plunge about two weeks ago. Due to the great British weather, I’ve only been out on it three times so far, but with warmer days ahead, I should be able to ride it more frequently in the coming months. The weather has been nice the last two weekends, but one weekend was spent with family and another with a friend, and then it rained during the week, so I haven’t had much bike time recently. In other news, I’m nearing the end of my current fitness cycle, which means I'll be starting a new 28-day programme next week. I’m considering creating a separate tab in my blog menu to detail each of the 28 days' workouts so that any readers who want to follow along can do so. I’d love to hear from you via Instagram DMs if you’d like to see this feature. Today has been mostly spent tidying up my website / blog. I’ve also done a bit of online shopping to get some basic food supplies to last until my usual shopping day on Thursday. Additionally, I bought a few new sweatshirts and t-shirts from ASOS. I’m just hoping the sizing is right, as it can be hit and miss. I guess I’ll find out when the clothes arrive tomorrow. It feels great to be back, and I'm excited to share more content with you all. Thanks for your continued support! |
