As March draws to a close, it's time to reflect on the journey we've embarked on over the past few weeks. Here's a snapshot of where I stand:
Mentally, I find myself in a place of equilibrium, albeit with room for improvement. It's a constant journey, navigating the highs and lows of mental health, but I'm grateful for the stability I've found. Physically, I'm feeling strong and energised. My commitment to a whole food and carnivore diet has kept me nourished and focused, providing the fuel I need for my home workouts, which have remained consistent and challenging. In terms of my blog, I'm pleased to report that I've stayed true to my schedule of posting once a day at 1pm (sometimes later for journal posts). It's a small victory, but it's helped me maintain a sense of discipline and routine in an otherwise unpredictable world. On the entertainment front, my current obsession is revisiting the world of "True Blood." Despite having watched it years ago, the thrill of rediscovering forgotten plot twists and character arcs has reignited my passion for the series. As for literature, I'm delving into "The Black Arts" by Richard Cavendish, exploring the intricacies of the occult and esoteric knowledge. It's a fascinating journey into the realms of magic and mysticism, offering insights that challenge and provoke. Film-wise, "Green Book" has captured my attention this month. With Viggo Mortensen delivering a stellar performance, the movie offers a poignant exploration of friendship and racial tensions, leaving a lasting impression. (see previous post reviewing this film, in the film section of the categories.) Of course, no recap would be complete without a nod to the British weather. While it could certainly be better, I refuse to let a few grey skies dampen my spirits. After all, there's beauty to be found in every season, even if it requires a bit of squinting through the clouds. Comments are closed.
