A few days ago, I wrote a post about how consistency is the key to lifestyle changes, and today I want to update you on how I'm implementing this principle in my own life.
Firstly, I've started keeping a spreadsheet to help me stay on track. As many of you know, I love a good spreadsheet, and this one is no exception. It has columns for my meals, my workouts (including the type and duration), my weight, and any notes I want to add about my progress or how I'm feeling. Having all this information in one place is incredibly helpful, and it allows me to see patterns and trends over time. One thing that's been particularly helpful is tracking my meals. By logging everything I eat, I can see where I might be going overboard on certain foods or not getting enough of others. This has helped me make better choices when it comes to meal planning and grocery shopping. Another thing that's been key is sticking to a consistent workout routine. I've been making sure to exercise at least five times a week, and I've been varying my workouts to keep things interesting. By mixing things up, I'm able to challenge my body in different ways and avoid getting bored. Overall, I've found that the key to making lifestyle changes stick is to stay consistent. It's not about making huge, drastic changes all at once, but rather making small, sustainable changes over time. By tracking my progress and sticking to a routine, I'm confident that I can continue to make positive changes in my life. I'm excited to see where this journey takes me, and I'm hopeful that with consistency and dedication, I'll start to see some real changes. Maybe one day, if I'm feeling brave, I'll even post some progress pictures to share with all of you. It's important to remember that progress looks different for everyone, and it's not always about the number on the scale or how we look in a certain outfit. It's about how we feel and the positive changes we're making in our lives. Comments are closed.
